A Favor for a Favor

As a physician I always try to perform medical favors for friends and co-workers. I sometimes instruct my nurse to work individuals into my already crowded office schedule. I write prescriptions for friends and make referrals to other specialist etc.....

Now I need a medical favor and I can't seem to get one. I need to see a dermatologist. Most of the appointments are scheduled 1 month away. I called a large dermatology office today and the receptionist was incredibly rude to me. During our conversation, I informed her I was a physician at the University and her attitude suddenly changed. She was then very polite.

It sucks to be on the other side
